For our last project of our second year at MCT, we had to develop an app in collaboration with the University of Hasselt. The app is called Kids BESTest and is used to test the balance of children. The app was developed in Flutter and uses Firebase as a backend. The app is used by physiotherapists to test the balance and motoric skills of children aged 5 to 14. The app was developed by a team of three, which consisted of me, Sybrin Pypaert, and Kyomi Staes. We also got to showcase our app at Smart Tech meets the Industry, which we were very proud of.
